our story

Our vineyard is one living organism, internalizing the health and fertility of intermingled wildlife, beneficial plants and no-till cover crops. We are CCOF Certified Organic and our holistic farming casts a clean footprint and invokes a clean wine.

Our selection of drought tolerant rootstocks and heat tolerant grape varietals pairs with thoughtfully managed cover crops that aid in weed suppression, moisture retention, soil health, and biodiversity along with a no-till philosophy, a compost regimen and some foraging chickens…bGaawK! We are 100% solar powered and operate an electric tractor in the vineyard. The vineyard is in a fertile triangle between a river and 2 creeks, surrounded by native trees, a state park, and wildlife habitat. We share the land with owls, foxes, skunk, turkey, deer, bear, mountain lions, snakes, bees, humming birds, and so many more. The natural inputs to the vineyard deliver balanced vines, a healthy ecosystem and elevated wine.

By harvesting balanced, delicious, well cared for organic grapes we are able to invoke the natural alchemy of winemaking in the cellar. We rely on one single ingredient: grapes. The grapes have everything we need without adding a single additive. Fermentation occurs solely with the grapes and their native yeast. We are passionately intertwined with the vines and are able to perfectly time harvests and field blends to truly represent the fruit and the vineyard. Instead of fixing mistakes with chemicals we take great pride in making exceptional wine NATURALLY.
